New shotgun owners are encouraged to take the “FIRST step” of shotgun training.   The key to successful shotgun shooting is a good foundation in basics for the beginner and solid fundamentals for the novice and intermediate student.  This classes are held at two convenient locations – Capital City Clays  or Copperhead Creek Shooting Club.  It is designed to provide hands-on introduction on the safe handling and proper orientation of one shotgun model. This class will teach you the basic shooting skills, this is not a complete course in the traditional sense of the word. It does provide a thorough introduction to shotgun safety, handling and shooting skills. This course is ideal for those who want to shoot skeet, sporting clays or participate in bird hunting.

Are you in from out of town or looking for a fun afternoon of shooting with your group?  Bachelor parties, bachelorette parties, corporate team building events welcome.   Shotgun rental ONLY available for use in training classes if you don’t have one already.  Clay Targets and Ammo additional.
